Dark green leaf blades 3/8" - 1/2" wide, similar to Evergreen Giant. Showy lavender flower spike, dense clumper.

Easy to grow. Excellent for container plantings, rock gardens, woodland gardens, seashore plantings, borders, massing, specimen, and groundcover.

Tolerates drought and some salt, moderate growth rate. Prefers moist loamy, sandy, or clay soil. Native to China and Japan. Mature height 18-22", spacing 9-12".
