ACORUS gramineus (Sweet Flag)

We offer two varieties of variegated Acorus (Japanese Sweet Flag): regular ’Variegatus’ (AKA ’Variegata’) and golden ’Ogon’.

Both of these fine-bladed rush-like grasses have striking foliage and are great for containers, edging or as a groundcover. Acorus is often used for water gardens, along streams or ponds or in moist open woodland gardens. Acorus is also effective in rock gardens or border fronts or as small landscape accents as long as the soil moisture requirements can be met. Excellent for erosion control along the banks of streams and ponds.
