Cinnamon Fern, is a perennial nicknamed for the cinnamon-shaded fertile fronds that emerge from her center in spring unfurling into large, erect fronds (2-4' long) that fade to a soft yellow in autumn and eventually turn golden brown before dying back for winter. These ferns are perfectly suited for pond and stream edgings or as borders in other moist locations.

Dramatic and lush, Cinnamon Fern creates a dynamic draft of light in shaded areas. Two added bonuses of Cinnamon fern are the facts that deer tend to avoid it and it grows under walnut trees.
