LIRIOPE muscari (Border Grass)

Liriope muscari is perfect for banks, beds and at the base of trees where roots will not permit grass to grow - an almost indestructible plant for stubborn areas. Outstanding for erosion control. Liriope gracefully fills those spots where nothing else will grow and will choke out most weeds.

It forms excellent outlines for formal gardens and is particularly suitable for southern gardens or in shady and dry places where little else can grow. An excellent low-maintenance turf substitute. Tolerates drought, heat, humidity, slopes and moist areas. Deer tend to avoid it.

  • Liriope muscari (except for ’Big Blue’) stays in clump form
