Example of approximately what these plants look like when shipped. See the eighth photograph of any plant to see a photo of what it looks like when shipped.Needlepoint Ivy (a variety of English ivy) is primarily sought as a trailing groundcover lawn alternative that quickly creeps to cover problem areas such as beneath trees or stubborn bald spots with a maintenance-free carpet of beautiful foliage. Needlepoint Ivy is sometimes grown as a climbing ornamental plant to cover trellises, walls, or buildings where it reduces cooling costs.
It is tolerant of drought and is ideal for slopes, northern exposures and erosion control. Tolerant of salt and infrequent foot traffic, Needlepoint offers a slightly unique twist on the traditional ivy with its lovely pointed foliage.
