Needlepoint Ivy is sometimes grown as a climbing ornamental plant to cover trellises, walls, or buildings where it reduces cooling costs.
It is tolerant of drought and is ideal for slopes, northern exposures and erosion control. Tolerant of salt and infrequent foot traffic, Needlepoint offers a slightly unique twist on the traditional ivy with its lovely pointed foliage.
