Plants were a little smaller than I expected

I contacted the company and they assured me it was because the outer leaves had been removed for shipping.

I planted them early last summer and they didn't do much. But this spring they've sprung up and are looking very healthy!

I also purchased:
Athyrium niponicum 'Pictum'
Athyrium filix-femina (Lady Fern)
Osmunda regalis (Royal Fern)
