Nearly all died. I have acquired C pennsylvanica from several sources. Despite planting as directed, none have done well. Seems finicky compared with other sedges.

If you had the same results from plants purchased at multiple places, and those results differed from the results of others, that suggests that there is something inhospitable with the environment or care they received. Did you give them an inch of water per week for the first summer as we suggest? It would be hard to diagnose this over the internet, could be as simple as something off wth the pH.
