A Fine Company

I am not much of a gardener, but I needed some groundcover for an area of my property. I’ve never before ordered plants through the Internet. I found “classygroundcovers.com” by accident.

I am also quite careful when I order anything online. I have found that many online businesses, after the sale, pester you with many advertisements of their own as well as sell your name and e-mail address. And trying to call customer service: fogetaboutit.

By contrast, I found “classygroundcovers.com” to be the best online purchasing process I have ever experienced. I bought pachysandra, which I know nothing about except that it might fill the certain area on my property. I called the customer service number — wow. The gentleman who answers (seemed more like his personal cell phone than a phone bank) (he’s probably the owner of the business) was absolutely great. But there’s more.

The website is easy to navigate and to make a purchase. There is a “promise” on the website that they will not pester you with unwanted e-mails. Any e-mail from them will be about your purchase, when shipped, when to expect arrival, and when they receive confirmation that UPS placed the package at your door. And they were true to their word: no unwanted e-mails or pop-up advertisements.

The Product: I ordered a good number of pachysandra roots (not in pots). They arrived in excellent, fresh condition; they were packed in some kind of homemade soil or mulch that kept the roots moist and fresh; and it was all surrounded by newspaper, the purpose of which, no doubt, was to hold the moisture or humidity in.

As to price: well, some would say that the plants are pricey. I could not confirm that because I’ve never before purchased pachysandra roots, or anything like it. But more important, dealing with this fine company was well worth the price. Were I intending to purchase such a product in the future, I’d go nowhere else.
