Pretty new plants save the day.

Nicely filled in spaces where plants were ripped out by gardeners I hired to cut bushes who then decided to rake trimmings through the area of ground cover I had just planted! and right after I heard their boss tell them exactly how to clean up trimmings, put in tarp and carry them using walkway to truck and visually demonstrated same. Apparently English beyond their comprehension. A problem that causes impatience and intolerance and can become costly for a retiree.
