I recently received my order of Pachysandra and my first impression was that they were safetly packaged, bright green in color, and had a vigorous healthy root system. Since I knew I would not be unable to plant them right away, I simply moistened them in their packaging and set them in the shade. I was not able to plant for a week but these plants are hardy and held up well. They have been in the ground for 1 week and they look healthy and are beginning to take to the area well. I am ordering more today because I wasn't sure how many I would need to fill the area. It is a great investment at a wonderful price.
