Good Quality Plants

I had to admire a company that wouldn't let their plants sit in shipment over a weekend. The plants arrived beautifully.

Unfortunately, I had not planned things well with my wife. She had ordered a massive earthmoving project, we ended up living on the other side of town and the vinca would have to wait. I asked Classy Groundcovers and they said to keep the roots damp and keep them in the refrigerator. The plants ended up staying in the fridge for a couple of months. If I had to do it again, I would have unpacked them more - if the leaves stay wet and stick together they die.

In the end, I planted all 500 plants, even the ones that were black and dead. All of them perked up, and the dead ones pushed up new leaves from the roots.

So I have to take responsibility for punishing such beautiful plants. But they're growing, I appreciate the advice from Classy Groundcovers and things worked out in the end!
