The plants where healthy and a little larger than I expected. They do come as single stalks so not a clump. I ordered 25 and received 27 or 28 counting a few that were smaller. They began growing a day or two after planting, they appeared to be fresh dug and in no distress when received. I am satisfied with the service and product and have already placed another order. If the plants where a little larger I would rate a 5 (they were sized at least as advertised )
