Several years ago I purchased 250 of these plants after an existing ivy bed was damaged by construction. All survived and since I planted them about 6 inches apart they filled in nicely in two years.
This year I was starting a much smaller ivy bed and since the others worked out so well I ordered 50 plants for this project; they arrived on time in very healthy condition. After 2 weeks in the ground new growth is evident. A few suggestions: Prepare the ground before they arrive, that way you can plant them right away. (I put mine in the ground the same day they arrived.) Don't drown them but keep the soil moist for at least the first few weeks. Naturally, the closer you plant them the faster they will fill in.
