Upon further review, I was wrong and misread the specs. Several are still growing in spite of my snafu.
05/19/2015 Update They don't seem to be doing so good in the direct Florida sunlight. I thought they'd be more adaptable.

As we explain on the Specs tab, ivies should not be planted in full sun.
