Lily Turf 'Densiflora' (Liriope muscari 'Densiflora')
Similar to
Evergreen Giant,
but shorter, Densiflora, with its slim lily-like emerald foliage, is a dense
clumper
with showy
lavender
flower spikes
that resemble miniature grape hyacinths.
Gardeners appreciate her tolerance of
salt
as well as her
moderate
growth rate.
Densiflora performs beautifully in container plantings, rock gardens, woodland gardens, salt plantings, borders, massing, as a specimen, or groundcover. A large bed filled with Densiflora appears natural and unpretentious while using her as a border gives a well-planned, manicured appearance.
Liriope muscari
(except for
'Big Blue') stays in
clump
form
Liriope spicata (Creeping Lily Turf)
creeps
(will spread)
