Nepeta 'Chartreuse on the Loose', offered here as Catmint 'Chartreuse on the Loose', is a chartreuse catmint grown for chartreuse foliage and blue-purple flowers and bright chartreuse aromatic foliage. It matures 12 to 18 inches tall with a 24 to 30 inches spread, giving you a clear footprint for edging, grouping, or mixed perennial beds. The habit forms a loose, spreading mound, so the foliage and bloom remain easy to place near paths, patios, or the front of a planting.

Choose full sun to part shade within USDA Zones 3 to 8, then provide well-drained average to lean soil and regular water while the roots establish. Its adaptable nature is strongest when once established it handles dry spells and lean or rocky soil is acceptable. Good spacing helps air move around the clump and lets the stated spread develop naturally.

The flowers add wildlife value by attracting butterflies and hummingbirds during the active bloom season. Deer and rabbit resistance make it useful where browsing pressure limits softer perennials.
