For best performance, plant in full sun to part shade. Give it average, well-drained soil, but once established it is adaptable and handles typical garden conditions with minimal fuss. Water regularly during the first growing season; afterward, water during extended dry spells. Maintain an even mulch layer to moderate soil moisture and reduce temperature swings.

At maturity, expect about 24-36 inches tall with a spread around 36-48 inches. Use it as a low hedge, in mixed borders, or massed as an easy-care foundation shrub.
