Leucanthemum superbum 'Daisy May™' (Shasta Daisy 'Daisy May™') is a compact, floriferous Shasta daisy that brings classic white, daisy-like flowers with sunny yellow centers to your garden all summer. You will get a tidy clump of medium green foliage topped with sturdy stems that look great in beds, borders, cottage gardens, and cutting gardens.

Plant it in full sun for the strongest stems and best flower production. It will tolerate light shade, especially in hot summer climates, but too much shade can reduce bloom and make stems stretch. Provide average soil with excellent drainage; wet winter soils can be harmful, so avoid low spots and heavy, poorly drained areas.

To keep the show going, deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers. After the main flush, you can cut stems back toward the basal foliage to keep the plant neat. Divide clumps every few years to maintain vigor and refresh older plants. This perennial also attracts butterflies and makes long-lasting cut flowers for fresh bouquets.
