Site your Meyer spruce in full sun to partial shade. Full sun generally produces the tightest growth and best color. Plant in well-drained soil and avoid spots that stay waterlogged, especially in winter. After planting, water deeply and consistently through the first growing season to help roots establish, then water during prolonged dry spells as needed.
