Lily Turf 'Christmas Tree' {50 Bare Root plants}
This Liriope is a lush
evergreen
groundcover with showy,
lavender
flowers that spike in the shape of a Christmas tree (thus the name).
Somewhat hyacinth-like, the tight clusters of light lilac blooms offer a decadent pop of color as they explode like fireworks from the emerald foliage whose blades are slim, 3/8 to 1/2 inch wide fingers reaching up from small clumps. Christmas Tree proves to be an outstanding, low-maintenance accent or borders plant creating a miniature forest of vivid green wherever she grows. Interesting Facts Christmas Tree's origin is Eastern Asia. Gardener Tips We love to alternate Christmas Tree Liriope with clusters of Christmas Fern, silvery sage and lavender for a diverse display of color and foliage.
