Echinacea purpurea 'White Swan' (White Coneflower) is an easy to grow perennial flower that produces striking large, fragrant, and bright white daisy-like flowers from early summer into early autumn. Coppery-green central cones are surrounded by white petals (to 4 1/2" across). 'White Swan' has a mature height of 25-36" and spread of 18-25", spacing 15-20". [ more information ]

Candytuft 'Snow Cone' (Iberis sempervirens) is an evergreen flowering groundcover with dark green leaves that look great all year. It forms a stunning blanket of pure white blooms (up to 2" across) that cover the bed from spring to early summer, blooming sporadically throughout summer. It adapts to various soil types, is tolerant of drought and moderately tolerant of salt. Excellent for edging and rock gardens. Mature height 6-12", spread 2-3', spacing 8-12". [ more information ]

White Mazus (Mazus reptans 'Alba') quickly forms a dense ground-hugging carpet of twisty bright green foliage with fingernail sized leaves which remain green throughout the growing season and well into the fall (evergreen in southern zones). Interesting and unusual mini orchid-like spring blooms have three-fingered petals with one curving upwards, intricate white flowers are speckled with yellow. Excellent as a border, between stones, pavers, or in rock gardens. Excellent for planting over lilies and other bulbs - it shades their roots and adds another layer of color. Moderate to fast spreading. Grows more rapidly in moist soil but will do well in any soil that is not very wet or very dry. Will tolerate some foot traffic. Deer resistant. Spacing 9-12".
