Anemone × 'Fall In Love® 'Sweetly' is a late-season perennial that lights up the garden when many plants are fading. You get semi-double, rose-pink flowers held on wiry stems above a handsome mound of dark green foliage. In most gardens it reaches about 20-26 inches tall and gradually broadens over time through rhizomes, creating a fuller clump each year.

Plant it in part shade to full sun. In warmer areas, give it protection from hot afternoon sun; in cooler climates, a brighter spot helps it bloom well. Choose soil that is moist but well-drained and enriched with organic matter. Water regularly during establishment and during dry spells so the root zone does not dry out completely, and apply a light mulch to help keep moisture consistent.

As stems elongate, a discreet support ring can keep the flowers upright, especially in windy sites. Deadheading is optional, but you can cut stems for bouquets and tidy the plant by removing spent flower stalks after bloom. Once frost blackens the foliage, cut back to the basal clump and refresh mulch for winter. Divide clumps in spring if you want to rejuvenate growth or share plants with friends.
