If you love the blooming stamina of Stella D'Oro, but want a new color twist, the
ever-blooming
Ruby Stella is a new generation daylily that offers gardeners similar repeat blooms.
She begins flowering in June and reblooms persistently until first frost. What gardeners adore is that you needn't deadhead Ruby Stella to encourage performance! Ruby Stella is a proven top perennial performer, with a great dwarf clumping habit. Though she's drought tolerant, Ruby Stella blooms much better with regular watering. For a cacophony of crimson color that bleeds across your garden like spilled wine, you'll want to fill your gardens with Ruby Stella. Things to Note This variety is dormant and remains without foliage for some period of time that is variable by growing region. Gardener Tips We love placing Ruby Stella by entrances because of her compact growth habit. Consider placing tulip and daffodil bulbs in front of the daylily for a pop of spring color before Ruby Stella begins her show.

In Zones 3 and 4, mulch with 5-6 inches of well-draining mulch in winter. Remember to remove mulch away from the crowns in spring.Deadheading spent flower heads is recommended to promote extended blooming. - Ground preparation, fertilization, pH - Planting instructions - Explanation and description of bare roots - How to plant bare root plants - If you cannot plant bare roots right away |
