Echinacea purpurea 'Magnus' (Purple Coneflower) is easy to grow and forms neat clumps of foliage. From early summer to early autumn, it produces dazzling, vibrant, rose-pink/purple daisy-like flowers that beckon butterflies and hummingbirds. In addition to less droopy petals, its blooms are lightly fragrant and at (up to) 6 inches across, larger than most other Echinaceas. Magnus is moderately tolerant of salt and is by far one of the best perennials on the market today. Mature height 25-36" and a spread of 18-25", spacing 15-20". [ more information ]

Echinacea purpurea 'White Swan' (White Coneflower) is a coneflower offering ease of growth and tidy clumps of foliage. From early summer to early autumn, it produces striking, bright, fragrant, white daisy-like flowers. This cultivar has prominent coppery-green central cones that are surrounded by white radial petals. 'White Swan' has a mature height 25-36" and a spread of 18-25", spacing 15-20". Rudbeckia fulgida 'Goldsturm' (Black Eyed Susan, Golden Coneflower) has giant masses of dramatic 1- to 2-inch golden-yellow blooms encasing a chocolate brown/black cone center. Tolerant of heat, drought and poor soil, perennials do not come any easier or more hardy and striking. 'Goldsturm' works exceptionally well in both residential and commercial landscapes, because of its durability and dramatic visual impact.
