Dianthus gratianopolitanus 'Glamour Time™' is a compact, mat-forming perennial that brings bright spring color to your rock garden, edging, and sunny borders. You get fragrant, rose-pink blooms held just above a neat cushion of blue-gray foliage, with additional flowers possible when you keep it trimmed and remove spent blooms.
Plan to grow it in full sun for best flowering and tight growth. Provide sharply drained soil, especially through winter, and avoid soggy sites. This plant is often happiest in neutral to slightly alkaline, gritty or rocky soils where excess water moves away quickly.
At maturity, expect a low mound about 6-8" tall with a spread around 5-10". Use it at the front of beds, along paths, or tucked into crevices and raised edges where it can softly spill. It also works well on banks and slopes where drainage is excellent and maintenance is easy.
Once established, it can handle short dry periods, but flowering improves with occasional deep watering during extended drought. Deer and rabbits tend to leave it alone, making it a dependable choice for small spaces and high-visibility spots.
