Weigela florida 'My Monet®' (also sold as MY MONET) is a dwarf, rounded deciduous shrub grown for its colorful, impressionistic foliage and soft pink spring blooms. You will love the compact size for small beds, container plantings, and border fronts, where the variegated leaves bring bright color from spring through fall.

Plant it in full sun for the best flowering and strongest foliage color, and it will also handle light shade or sun-dappled shade. In warmer locations, a little afternoon shade can help keep the plant looking fresh. Provide average moisture in well-drained soil, and it is tolerant of clay soils once established.

At maturity, expect a neat mound about 18-24 inches tall with a similar spread (often a bit wider with time). The leaves are green-centered with creamy white margins that can show pink tones, and the shrub produces soft pink, trumpet-shaped flowers in late spring, with the possibility of scattered repeat blooms into summer. The flowers can be attractive to hummingbirds.
