This prostrate selection stays low, typically 4-8 inches tall, then spreads outward to form a loose mat that can reach 24-48 inches wide. In late summer into fall, the fine stems are covered with many small, daisy-like blooms with white rays and yellow centers, bringing fresh color when many perennials are fading.

Give it full sun for the heaviest bloom, though it can also grow in part shade where it still makes a tidy edging or spiller over stones. It is adaptable to average, well-drained soil and handles dry to medium moisture once established. Use it along the front of borders, in rock gardens, or to cascade along ledges where its airy flowers can spill naturally.

Water regularly the first season to help roots establish, then reduce supplemental watering. Trim or shear lightly after flowering if you want to neaten the outline or encourage denser growth.
