Buxus 'Cranberry Creek' (Boxwood 'Cranberry Creek') is a broadleaf evergreen selected for a naturally tidy, upright to pyramidal form and fine-textured, deep green foliage that holds color well through the seasons. You can use it as a specimen accent, a foundation shrub, or repeat it in lines for a formal hedge where a consistent silhouette matters.

Give your boxwood a site with well-drained soil and even moisture while it establishes. It performs in full sun to part shade; in hotter or windier exposures, a little afternoon shade and protection from drying winter winds can help keep foliage looking its best. A 2-3 inch mulch layer over the root zone helps reduce moisture swings, but keep mulch pulled back from the stems.

Once established, you can maintain shape with light pruning, typically after the main flush of growth. Space plants with their mature width in mind so air can move through the canopy, and water at the base to keep foliage dry. This plant is well-suited to clipping, topiary-inspired forms, and clean edges along walks and beds.
