Heuchera × 'Guacamole' brings a punch of luminous, lime-green foliage to beds, borders, and containers. You will get a tidy, mounding clump with softly ruffled leaves that hold color for a long season and pair beautifully with darker foliage plants and spring bulbs.

Plant it where you can enjoy the foliage up close, such as along a path, near a patio, or at the front of a mixed border. In most gardens it performs best with morning sun and afternoon shade, but it can also handle brighter light if the soil stays evenly moist. In deeper shade, growth can be a bit looser and color may be less intense.

From late spring into summer, slender stems rise above the leaves with small, bell-like flowers that add airy texture without overwhelming the foliage. Leave the flower spikes for a soft, natural look or remove them after bloom to keep the plant looking neat and focused on foliage.

Give this coral bells rich, well-drained soil and consistent moisture, especially during heat. Mulch lightly to moderate soil temperature and reduce heaving in winter, keeping mulch off the crown.
