Sedum × 'Rock 'N Round® Pure Joy' is a compact stonecrop that gives you clean, tidy structure all season and a burst of soft pink bloom late in the year. You get a neat, mounded plant with thick, succulent leaves that handle heat and dry spells once established, making it a strong choice for sunny beds and low-water areas.
Place it where it will receive full sun for best habit and flowering. Plant in poor to average, well-drained soil and avoid spots that stay wet, especially in winter. Once rooted in, you will typically water only during extended drought. Little to no fertilizer is needed, and too-rich soil can lead to soft growth.
At maturity it stays about 10-12 inches tall and spreads 16-20 inches, so it fits nicely at the front of a border, in rock gardens, and in containers. The late-season flowers are useful for fresh or dried arrangements, and the seed heads can add interest as the blooms fade.
Maintenance is simple: trim back old stems in early spring before new growth begins, or leave the dried heads for winter texture and cut them back when you are ready. If your clump becomes crowded over time, you can divide in spring.
