With a mature size around 24-36 inches tall and about 36-48 inches wide, you can tuck it along foundations, use it as a low border, or plant several for a bright, season-long mass of color.

Give your azalea a site with full sun to part shade; more sun usually means more flowers, while a bit of afternoon shade helps in hotter areas. Plant in moist, well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter, and keep the root zone evenly moist during the first growing season. Mulch to cool roots and hold moisture, but keep mulch a few inches away from the stems.

Feed in spring with an azalea/rhododendron fertilizer, then water well. Prune only lightly and do it soon after the main spring bloom so you do not remove developing buds for later flushes.
