Sedum × 'Rock 'N Grow® Coraljade' (stonecrop) is a refined, late-season perennial that brings structure and color when many gardens are winding down. You get a dense, rounded mound of thick, glossy green foliage, then tight clusters of citron-green buds that open to soft coral-pink flowers from late summer into fall.
Plant it in full sun for the strongest stems and best flowering, though it will also handle part sun. Provide well-drained soil; like many sedums, it performs best in soils that are not overly rich. Once established, it is quite tolerant of dry conditions and is a good choice for hot, reflective sites where drainage is excellent.
At maturity, it reaches about 16-18 inches tall and spreads to roughly 26-28 inches wide, creating a balanced dome that works beautifully in mixed borders, mass plantings, and rock gardens. Use it to echo rounded forms in your design, repeat it along a path, or tuck it among grasses and other perennials for an easy, modern look.
Care is simple: avoid heavy fertilizing, which can lead to soft growth. If you want a fresh start each year, cut back old stems in late winter or early spring before new growth takes off. The sturdy flower heads can be left for seasonal interest, then removed when you tidy beds in spring.
