Phlox paniculata 'Luminary Backlight' (Garden Phlox 'Luminary™ Backlight') lights up beds with pure white, fragrant flower clusters held above dark green foliage. You get an upright, clump-forming perennial that fits easily into borders and mixed plantings, reaching about 28-30 inches tall with a spread around 20-24 inches.

Plant it where it receives full sun to part shade. Full sun helps the heaviest flowering, while a little afternoon shade can be helpful in warmer locations. Provide medium moisture and well-drained, fertile soil; keep the root zone evenly moist, especially during dry spells. A summer mulch can help keep roots cool and reduce moisture swings.
