In the garden, this selection typically reaches about 18-24 inches tall and spreads roughly 15-18 inches, making it easy to tuck into mixed borders, cottage-style plantings, and cutting gardens without flopping into nearby plants.

Give it full sun for best flowering, but it will also grow in part shade. Plant in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter, and water consistently while it is establishing and during hot, dry stretches. To help reduce powdery mildew pressure, space plants for good airflow and aim irrigation at the soil rather than wetting the leaves.

For a longer season of bloom, remove spent flower heads and cut stems back after the first flush. Clean up old growth at the end of the season, and divide mature clumps every few years to keep your planting vigorous and full.
