ideally she wants well-drained soil and
tolerates drought
(does not tolerate too much moisture).

Consider placing multiple plants in one area for quick filling, then in 2-3 growing seasons, you can easily divide this plant in early spring and use her in other areas.

Ordered and planted a 30 of these last year. They came in this year very full and robust with a deep rich lavender color. Spreading and filling in much better than I expected for a first year plant. All plants survived a bad Chicago winter. Ordered more this year.

Arrived quickly and in great shape. Well packaged, each plant looked healthy and each had good root system. I just planted them so not sure how they will turn out but they have a healthy start. Very pleased so far.
