Pinktopia (Rosa 'Easy Elegance(R) Pinktopia') is an own-root shrub rose grown for its steady show of bright pink blooms and its clean, dark green foliage. In your landscape it makes a dependable accent plant, a low hedge, or a mass planting where you want consistent color through the growing season.
Give it full sun (6+ hours) for best flowering and plant in well-drained soil enriched with compost. Water regularly during establishment, then keep moisture even during hot, dry spells. Mulch to help conserve moisture and to keep roots cooler, but keep mulch a few inches back from the crown and main stems.
Space plants with room to fill out (about 3 feet apart for a dense hedge look). Feed with a balanced rose fertilizer in spring and again after the first flush of flowers if needed. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage repeat flowering, or leave some flowers to finish naturally for a more relaxed look.
Prune in early spring as new growth begins. Remove dead or crossing stems and shape lightly to maintain an upright, well-branched shrub. This rose is hardy in USDA Zones 5-9; in colder areas, winter protection such as extra mulch after the ground freezes can help young plants get established.
