Plant your Bobo panicle hydrangea in moist, well-drained soil. Full sun encourages the strongest stems and best flowering, but part shade is welcome, especially where afternoons are hot. Water deeply during dry spells and mulch to keep the root zone evenly cool and moist. This shrub is shallow rooted, so avoid repeated cultivation right at the base.
