Rosa 'Romantica® Moonlight' (Hybrid Tea Rose 'Romantica® Moonlight') adds a romantic, old-fashioned look with very full, softly glowing yellow blooms and noticeable fragrance. You will get the best flower form and repeat bloom when you plant it where it can receive full sun, with some afternoon shade acceptable in hotter areas. Choose a location with well-drained soil and good air circulation, then amend the planting area with compost to improve structure and moisture management.
At maturity, expect an upright shrub about 60-84 inches tall with a spread around 36-48 inches. Space plants to allow airflow and make maintenance easier. Water deeply at the base during establishment and during dry spells, keeping foliage as dry as possible. A 2-3 inch layer of mulch helps even out soil moisture and reduces temperature swings, but keep mulch a few inches back from the canes to prevent moisture buildup at the crown.
Feed in spring as new growth begins and again after heavy flushes, following your preferred rose fertilizer directions. Prune in late winter to early spring by removing dead or crossing wood and shaping the plant for an open center. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage repeat flowering. In USDA hardiness zones 5-9, provide winter protection where needed by mounding mulch around the base after the ground begins to freeze. Watch for common rose issues and respond early with good sanitation, consistent watering, and proper spacing.
