Plan for a mature size around 48-60 inches tall, with a comparable spread, and give it space for good air circulation. For best flowering, place it where it will receive full sun; more light generally means more blooms and stronger overall performance.

Water deeply during establishment and then as needed, soaking the root zone rather than sprinkling the foliage. A 2-3 inch layer of mulch helps even out soil moisture and keeps roots cooler in summer and better insulated in winter, while also reducing competition from nearby plants.
